Ken Condon Launches Art Website!
At long last I have launched a website featuring a gallery of artworks that I have created over the years. Some go back as far as the early 1990’s… and perhaps some from the 80’s! All of the art is original illustration work by me, Ken Condon. I also feature some of the collaborative works with my good friend and fellow zendrites partner, Mike Clinton. He is an incredible visionary with a keen writing sensibility. Check out our debut children’s book, Sun and Flower: rainy days, now available on amazon, zendrites.com. Now enough with the self-promotion nonsense…
Why did I decide to launch a website? Well, the short of it is that I am taking a great Mass Bay online class called Digital Writing and creating a site showcasing a personal interest is one of the assignments. The class has served as the perfect motivator in getting me to put stuff out in a more organized and accessible way than I have done thus far in my career. Over the last few years I have been doing a lot of commissioned work and while the orders come in at a decent pace, there always a drive to get the word out there in a better way. Showing my work and advertising on other social media platforms feels a bit too forced to me, I don’t want to shove it in people’s faces. I don’t particularly care for it when others do it, just not my jam.
Aside from the showcasing art and the book, I will be writing about and posting various things that interest me. Be it comic books, film, podcasts, music or geek news (to name a few), it will all be up on my BLAH BLAH BLAHG. The possibilities are endless now that I have a website. I hope you find some enjoyment here! I know I will…
Thanks,
Ken Condon
